Sustainability Audits

Our sustainability services consist of a two-tiered offering; our first-tier service, the Sustainability Walk-Through, is a two-day, on-site analysis which evaluates a property's current LEED score. Our second-tier offering is a Full-Service LEED Certification.

  • LEED Sustainability Walk-Through. The Sustainability Walk-Through is conducted by one of our accredited LEED professionals who evaluates the property's current LEED score. Our deliverable consists of a point-by-point discussion of our findings and an estimate of the general financial investment needed to become LEED certified.
  • Full-Service LEED Certification. A LEED accredited professional will walk you through the full LEED certification program, and we will help develop and support all sustainability goals, from design to build to completion. LEED service programs include Existing Buildings and New Construction.
  • Post-Retrofit Evaluation. To ensure that energy efficiency measures are achieving expected savings, DBA will conduct an analysis following the implementation of such measures verifying energy savings.
  • Green Procurement. DBA will help identify materials for interiors and furniture that will reduce your environmental impact. DBA will also provide an analysis on local sourcing of materials and suppliers.
  • Tenant / Building Management Training. DBA will train personnel on how to maintain equipment and will teach them various strategic measures that will ensure that energy efficiency goals are met. Tenants will also be informed of various efforts that they can make to minimize their environmental impact. In multi-unit housing such as dorms or hotels, green housekeeping methods can be implemented.
